The Heidenhain ROQ 425 is an absolute multiturn rotary encoder with an integral bearing. This encoder also features a solid shaft and a separate rotor coupling. This coupling compensates for axial movements, radial misalignment, and angular offset, preventing loads on the rotary encoder's bearing and a reduction in service life.

 

The ROQ 400 series features very high positioning accuracy and multiturn functionality for up to 4096 revolutions. Mounting can be performed with fixing clamps and a synchro flange or via a front-face fastening thread and an adapter flange.
