The Heidenhain MT 1271 is part of the Heidenhain METRO series which features incremental length gauges for measuring stations and multi-gauging fixtures with a very high system accuracy of down to ±0.2 µm. The ball-bearing-guided, zero-backlash plunger ensures very high repeatability.

 

The METRO series offers high accuracy over long measuring ranges of up to 100 millimeters are attainable at a system accuracy of ±1 µm. The MT 1271 has a protection rating of up to IP67.
